From a young age, I harbored a vision that I was destined to establish a school. My parents, steadfast in their belief in my vision, provided unwavering support, including financial assistance for the acquisition of the property. Their encouragement was instrumental in helping me advance towards achieving this goal.

This vision materialized in 1988 with the founding of Magic Moments Nursery School. The school quickly became a cornerstone of the local community, evolving in tandem with the broader socio-political changes in South Africa. The transition to a multiracial institution in 1992 marked a significant milestone, coinciding with the school’s expansion to include primary education. At that time, Brakpan, known for its conservative stance, saw Dalpark Private School stand out as a unique entity among its peers. Within three months of adopting a multiracial approach, we had a diverse student body predominantly composed of children of color. This period presented considerable political and developmental challenges, which we navigated with resilience.

Over the years, the school has expanded significantly, establishing itself as a distinguished educational institution renowned for its innovative pedagogical methods and international teaching standards. We take pride in our strong Christian ethos and the nurturing environment that has allowed our students to flourish.

It is with great pride that I report that Dalpark Private School continues to uphold its foundational values and educational principles while maintaining its deeply religious background. Many former students return to visit, and their children are now part of our school community. It is a profound honor to witness the ongoing engagement and confidence that extends beyond my own family to our broader school family. This enduring connection is a testament to the vibrant and supportive community we have cultivated.
